How Peekoo handles information
Peekoo is in early access. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what responsibilities sit with you when you use Peekoo to collect feedback.
What we collect
We collect the information needed to run your account and deliver the product. That includes account details, survey and template content, branding assets you upload, survey responses, and technical data needed to operate the service.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate users, render surveys, store responses, support reporting, maintain the service, respond to support requests, and improve Peekoo. We do not sell survey response data.
Survey responses and respondent data
If you ask respondents for names, emails, phone numbers, order details, or other personal information, that data is stored as part of your survey results. You are responsible for deciding what to collect and for making sure respondents understand why you are collecting it.
Who can access it
People on your account can access the surveys, templates, and responses connected to that account. Peekoo administrators may access account or survey data when needed for support, maintenance, abuse prevention, security, or legal compliance.
Sharing and service providers
Peekoo uses third-party infrastructure to host the app and deliver the service. Those providers may process data on our behalf only to help us run Peekoo. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Retention and deletion
We keep account, survey, and response data for as long as it is needed to operate your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain service integrity. If you need something deleted, contact us and we will review the request.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information stored in Peekoo, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid collecting more personal information than you need.
Your responsibilities as a survey creator
If you use Peekoo to collect feedback from customers, clients, or other respondents, you are responsible for using the service lawfully, providing any notices or consent language required for your use case, and collecting only the information you actually need.
